Police have found human remains in the search for a missing woman who recently moved from Hawaii to Connecticut.
Investigators say it’s too early to know if the remains are of 31-year-old Perrie Mason.
The mother of two moved to the East Coast one year ago. She’s a former district court clerk on Oahu.
Police say Mason suddenly vanished last Friday.
Her fiance, 38-year-old Jason Watson, has been arrested in connection with a separate domestic violence case that happened last week, local media reports.
But police have named him as the primary suspect in the case.
Mason’s sister, Vao Horlback, said the family is trying to stay strong.
“If I fall apart it will be too hard for me to try to continue so I’m trying to keep everything together in support of my sister, in support of the search in finding her,” she said.
